Mygayst.com is a worldwide network, helping gays and lesbians to connect in order to share their accommodation under terms that they will defined between themselves. In exchange, each member of Mygayst is able to source anyone from Mygayst community and ask for hospitality.

Mygayst is the result of a bunch of friends who share the same interest in travels, meeting new people and sharing. Together, they have decided to create a network for gays and lesbian who share the same values in this wide world of tourism.

Mygayst is a true community in which each member tries his/her best to help the network grow in order to propose new destinations and give useful input and content about gay tourism.

Like many of us, you like to travel and would like to do it more often.
By offering free accommodation to worldwide guests,  you can in return be hosted by Gayst members.  Not having to engage accommodation costs will give more money to purchase train or plane tickets and travel even more and further!

A different way to travel!
Staying with your host and sharing a few days together goes beyond saving an accommodation... It is all also about facilitating cultural understanding, discovering places you would have not otherwise. But it is also about networking people and creating a smaller world!

An attitude!
Hosting or being hosted must be done with mutual respect and under certain rules.
When hosting a Gayst, make sure that you draw the limits beforehand.  If you prefer, for example, not to leave your guests alone in your apartment... the choice is up to you.
Each member remains free to accept or not a Gayst member and vice versa and therefore pick and choose whom you want to host. As a Gayst you may decide to meet your guest for a drink only or even make your extra mattress completely unavailable. No one is obliged to anything and must respect each other’s lifestyle and rules.
When you travel, make sure that things are made pretty clear between you and your host.  Respect his/her prerogative, his way of rhythm of life, so that your can enjoy your vacation.

By creating your profile on the website, you join the international community of gay and lesbian travellers. You can contact and be contacted by any member of the community. You remain free to accept or refuse to accommodate anyone. And there is no obligation for reciprocity in the exchange. Your sole experience counts. How to travel with the best security level ?

The website allows you to do some verifications before travelling or before receiving someone by your place.
You can read the comments on any profiles,  check if someone has already met him/her and can attest that he/she is someone reliable. You also can try to contact some other gaysts present in his friends list if you have any questions. 
Don’t hesitate in return to leave your comments on a gaysts that you know or have met.

Never forget :
There is no obligation to host one of the members from the website. You sole can put some limits to your exchange, such allowing someone to get your keys or access to you appartment when you are out.
You and your gayst are responsible for the link between the two of yous. And never forget that a clear contract between you is the best way to meet and succeed your holidays !
